Senior Resources offers a wide range of support services to family caregivers, grandparents, and/or older individuals who are relative caregivers. These services are funded by the National Family Caregiver Support Program. Respite Services
Respite care enables caregivers to be temporarily relieved of their caregiving responsibilities. What is respite services?
- The National Family Caregiver Support Program will fund respite services such as adult day care, homemakers, and home health aides. There is a 20% suggested donation to allow services for other caregivers.
- Each caregiver's needs are individually determined after an in-depth assessment conducted by a member of the Family Caregiver Support Team.
Am I eligible?
- Caregiver must be caring for a person aged 60 years or older.
- Grandparent or relative caregiver must be aged 60 years or older caring for a grandchild/ren aged 18 years or younger.
Supplemental Services When there is a need and there is no other means of obtaining the item or service. What is supplemental services?
- The National Family Caregiver Support Program will partially fund items such as durable medical equipment not covered by insurance, or one-time emergency needs. There is a 20% suggested donation to allow services for other caregivers.
- Each caregiver's needs are individually determined after an in-depth assessment conducted by a member of the Family Caregiver Support Team.
