Resource Center

Senior Resources offers a wide range of support services to family caregivers, grandparents, and/or older individuals who are relative caregivers. The Caregiver’s Resource Center (CRC) is funded by the National Family Caregiver Support Program, and is designed to supplement the assistance that family members provide to an elder. CRC offers support and respite care to those with the greatest social and economic needs.

Services Provided

Information, training and services including:

  • The caregiver’s resource network, which links service providers with caregivers
  • Individual counseling, organization of support groups, and
    caregiver training to individuals who assist caregivers in making
    decisions and solving problems related to their caregiving roles
  • A listing of experts available to address issues significant to seniors
  • Caregiver’s training programs, covering topics such as personal care and mobility,
    nutrition, safety, and caregivers in the work place
  • Resource library, a collection of informative printed and audio- visual materials
    Computer access via the Internet to a wide range of information and resources
